Brittany McDaniel

~Singing Debut~
At the age of 4, Brittany stepped onto the stage before a live audience for a workshop presentation at The Civic Theatres of Central Florida, and her eyes lit up! The director and audience members alike appreciated her abilities and command of the stage! Multiple performance opportunities came from that experience which landmarked her performance career.

~Vocal Training~
Brittany has been singing the popular hit "God Bless the USA" since she was 2 years old from her car seat. After her initial performance at The Civic Theatre, she began her formal vocal training with Producer / Director / Talent Coach ~ J.Michael. He worked with Brittany steadily for 10 years on a weekly basis; fine tuning her vocal technique and performance skills.

~Dance~
Brittany’s love for the stage was a natural progression from her earlier years of dance training (beginning at the age of 2) at The Academy of Dance & Theatrical Arts. Her skills in ballet, tap and jazz led her to join the "Innovations Dance Company," performing as a featured dancer and solo vocalist in more than 50 shows. She later added hip-hop to her skills at The American Dance Center.

~Print Work~
Since the age of 4, Brittany has been listed with acting agent, Helen Gittens, currently with Diamond Agency. Brittany has been featured in numerous print jobs such as: Disney’s Animal Kingdom (international market), Fuji Film, Calloway Gardens in Georgia, Orlando Sentinel, Orlando Science Center, McDonald’s, Sears, IBM, Disney’s Vacation Club, AAA Auto Club, Harcourt Brace, Universal Studios and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campground.

~Modeling~
From the age of 4 until age 8, Brittany did runway modeling for such companies as Parisian, Kid’s Footlocker, Gayfers, The Children’s Place, Fashion Square Mall, Forever 21, and Brenner’s Bridals.

~TV Shows & Commercials~
Brittany has appeared in more than 28 television shows and commercials (national, regional and local) including: Ringling Brothers ~ Barnum Bailey Circus, Chevrolet, Avis Car Rentals, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Swing-N-Slide, Orlando Science Center, "ER", "From Earth to the Moon", "Second Noah", "Automatic Avenue", and "Discover Orlando".

~Specials/Industrials~
Brittany was the featured interviewee of Orlando’s upcoming child stars on a special report with news anchor, David Whitman. She also appeared on a television special, "Child Watch", targeting missing children. Other industrials include "Dooley and Pals", Orange County Taxes, Precision Paints and Orlando Science Center.

~Theatrical Debut~
At the age of 7, Brittany appeared on the Main Stage of The Civic Theatres of Central Florida in the Broadway musical, "Annie". She played the role of Molly, the youngest orphan. She also appeared in the cast of "Elf Rebellion and Other Holiday Tales" at The Civic. Brittany has attended a variety of workshops and classes in acting at The Civic, as well as runway modeling, commercial television and print modeling at The Maile School.

~School Shows~
Brittany has been asked to sing solos and lead parts in concerts and musicals at her schools since age 8. She also has participated in many school talent show productions. She has done more than 40 school shows in the past 9 years including singing the National Anthem for numerous school events through elementary, middle, and high school.

~Orlando Magic Dancer~
During half time at the Orlando Magic basketball games, Brittany performed at 9 shows as a Junior Magic Dancer over a period of 4 years. The last 3 years of those years, she was chosen from 120 dancers for the elite dance group, "The Junior Magic All Star" dance team. As an "All Star", she performed at Disney’s Pleasure Island during the Magic Dancer Auditions.

~Performance Troupes~
As mentioned, Brittany began gaining theatrical training by enrolling in classes at "The Civic Theatres of Central Florida" when she was four years old. She quickly became one of the first members of the auditioned performance troupe, "Rising Stars", where she was a featured soloist at more than 70 shows throughout Metro-Orlando. Brittany has also performed as a dancer and lead vocalist with another central Florida performing troupe; which has performed more than 25 shows throughout Central Florida.

~Band Performances~
When Brittany reached the age of 8, she made her debut performance singing with a live country band, "Sidekick" , at Old Town in Kissimmee, Florida. She was a featured guest soloist that was an instant hit with the crowds. After the band received numerous requests for "more Brittany", she became a regular guest artist with the band for more than 2 years (14 shows). While on a summer vacation in North Carolina, she was invited to sing as a guest artist with a country band entitled "Southern Drawl" for 4 shows. She has performed with "Boots and Barstools", (2002 FCMA "Entertainer of the Year" & "Band of the Year"), for 8 shows as a guest soloist at various venues. Britt has performed with the 2004 FCMA "Band of the Year," "The Ken Bozeman Band." In recent years, she has performed several shows with the "Steel Pony Band" of West Palm Beach, Fl.

The Shania impersonator came out of the dressing room to watch her perform and then asked Britt to go on stage to sing 2 songs with her.

  • ~Awards~
    Brittany's endeavors on stage have led her to the "competition" level. From the few contests of which she has entered, here are her accomplishments:
  • Florida Country Music Association (FCMA) ~ 5 time Junior Female Vocalist of the year
  • Florida Metropolitan University’s "Talent Extravaganza" ~ 1st Place Winner (At age 10, she competed against 8 adult acts.)
  • Colgate Country Showdown ~ 4th place in Central Florida competition from over 100 entries
  • "All American Dream National Competition" ~ Division Talent Winner
  • "Tomorrow’s Stars" Talent Show ~ 1st Place Vocalist
  • Channel 6’s "Florida Super Singer" ~ At 11 years old, one of 26 semifinalists chosen from 822 contestants from ages 6 through adult.
  • Hard Rock Academy Talent Contest ~ At age 10, she finished 1st runner up from 85 contestants through age 17.


  • ~Memorable Moments~
  • While performing at a country nightspot (with a large "biker" audience), 10 year old, Brittany was asked to permanently autograph a biker’s Harley right on side of the gas tank. What a HUGE request from a fan!!
  • When Brittany was 6 years old, she participated in the FMPTA annual showcase, "Ready To Roll." It just so happened that a future celebrity sang prior to Brittany’s performance (a warm-up act, as it were!). That celebrity was Mandy Moore! They had auditioned together for the show!
  • During a closed-set sound check, Brittany had the opportunity to meet and chat with her long time idol, Martina McBride. Together they sat center stage, along with Martina’s daughter, Delaney, having an industry "pow-wow" while opening presents.
  • During a "Meet and Greet" at K92FM radio, country star, Steve Wariner, asked for Brittany’s autograph and said he hoped they could work together someday. She was 11 at the time.
